The Strong & Focused Fitness Studio is owned and operated by Troy; an internationally known endurance sports coach (CoachTroy.com), former professional triathlete, fitness video personality (Spinervals.com), and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland, "Coach Troy" has worked in the fitness industry since 1985 and, among other accolades and accomplishments, was selected as BALTIMORE MAGAZINE'S "Baltimore's Best Personal Trainer - 1997", was the personal coach to the highest placing U.S. Triathlete in the 2000 Olympic Games and was the Official Coach for the Baltimore Marathon Training Program. Once a world ranked professional triathlete and founder and former owner of the Mid Atlantic's top Triathlon specialty retail stores (Tri-speed.com), Troy now focuses his efforts on helping others achieve their personal goals through his coaching, videos and seminars. David Rutch is a professional trainer with over 15 years of personal training experience. A Desert Storm Combat Veteran serving in the Army, David holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Towson University.
Once a competitive bodybuilder, David competed in the 2002 NPC Drug Tested East Coast Tournament of Champions Bodybuilding. He enjoys training people trying to lose fat, increase muscle tone and improve the overall quality of their lives through fitness.
His motto is: Push yourself! Don't be a quitter!

Ryan has a background in track/cross country and in strength training. He used to compete in lifting competitions and won a few benchpress competitions. He is currently pursuing a certification for personal training. Ryan is excited to help people set and achieve goals in strength training, weight loss, and overall conditioning, so that they are able to have more energy, excitement, and discipline in the way they approach life.

Laura Thibodeaux has been teaching fitness for over 15 years. She believes in helping her students to achieve the mind and body benefits of exercise. Laura has completed over 20 triathlons – including the 2006 IronGirl Triathlon in Columbia, MD - as well as the New York, Marine Corps and NCR Marathons. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Community and School Health from Towson State University. Laura is the proud mother of 3 boys, 2 cats, 1 parakeet, 2 fish, 10 chickens 2 dogs and 1 husband.

Britni Manning is a certified Body Pump instructor, with a background in endurance sports including the Marine Corps Marathon and Duathlons. Britni is currently pursuing a certification for personal training and is excited to be a part of the Strong & Focused team! Always an advocate of healthy living and proper nutrition, she maintains these high standards for herself, her husband and her two young girls.
Beth Malcolm began her career in the healing arts in 1994. She graduated from the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach in 1996. For the last 10 years, Beth has worked in the top Resorts in Arizona, including the Golden Door Spa. Besides being a Certified Massage Therapist, she is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, teaching a wide variety of yoga styles including Ashtanga, Power, Flow, Restorative and Yin. Beth Malcolm also offers Private Yoga sessions at Strong & Focused.
Jacki Dalsimer is a certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor.
She has been actively involved in the fitness community for over ten years. Jacki competitively raced 5k and 10k races in the Baltimore area. She is an enthusiastic cycling instructor who loves to push her participants out of their comfort zones in order to ensure they achieve their personal goals. Jacki also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a mathematics concentration from Towson University. Jacki taught mathematics for Baltimore County Public Schools for eight years until the birth of her son Dylan. Now she is a domestic engineer, A.K.A stay at home mom, who has a passion for fitness.
